Garibaldi to Lincoln City- 75m

Ooh that was a nice day indeed!
A somewhat ethereal start to the day, with the early morning mists on the very still water. Really beautiful.
We played spot the heron and watch it fly off laughing when we took out our cameras and then it was time for some of the three capes scenic route through the trees.
I can understand why americans love the fall so much, the heat has come down a peg or two and the leaves are starting to flutter down.
The wow-o-meter has been humming today. Steve grinned knowingly as we climbed up to this vista.
The sun was smiling from behind some clouds that were rapidly diminishing, promising a rapid temperature increase.
This road pretty much sums up the mood!
After a cinnamon swirl as big as a football we were off to take in some more breathtaking coastline and the first of the gentle giant redwoods. Couldn't stop smiling in those magical trees, my frenchie and me.
We're being spoilt today it feels, the exhilerating route aside. Pain au chocolat for breakfast, a return to brand new tarmac and in Lincoln City a very smart hotel. It's a wonderful place, look at this coastline. It's off the chain!!!
Not bad for a walk back from Safeway!

So, now we're in the most authentic mexican my stomach has ever come close to. For now!

P.s. One more bird spot mum and dad, post-Safeways!
