Florence to Bandon-74m

We left Florence having had a thoroughly nice evening eating al fresco as a group last night. And having been teased with the first hint of California- multicoloured tie dye in Safeway, big beards, Harleys and smelly hitchikers immersed under a purple haze.
The sun gleamed and we pedalled on towards the Oregon dunes, which look like a lot of fun if you're equipped with a four wheeled steed.
My legs never really warmed up today and the thought of a rest day tomorrow has been a supersize carrot indeed.
I'm still not sleeping very well yet despite being shattered when we go to bed.

We're all falling into the earlier to bed, earlier to rise pattern and at this rate it'll be bagels at dawn by San Francisco.

We saw some interesting corpses today including possums and a beaver (much bigger than I thought they'd be). On the alive side of things whilst making use of nature's restroom I spied a green slug!!

So far there's been quite a few punctures and by my calculations there seems to be an interesting correlation within the group between rider's size and the number of wretched pssssts.
So we are here in Bandon and the sea mist has rolled in as quickly as I rolled into the bath.
What a view from our window. The sound of the ocean from bed is not bad either!
