A change of gear today, both in terms of the comfortably established daily cycling routine and a chance to free the poor bot from it's cycling short prison.

Geoff witnessed the glorious post-ride moon-freeing yesterday when he mistook our room for his yesterday hahaha!

After a laid-back breakfast the riders set off on their individual journeys today. Shared goals consisted of de-dusting the velos and stocking up on snacks, as well as some exploration on foot of this pure unspoilt coastline with it's seastacks.

Supermarkets are quite boggling in unfamiliar countries and some of the unintentional double meanings keep us amused in the aisles.

A stroll into Bandon and we got an excellent nature spot in the harbour- a speedy sea otter swimming amongst the seals, who tended to float more leisurely.

By now the sun was out and the ocean  a-shimmer. It could only be time for one thing- a corn dog, or two!! 

It's important to keep well fuelled, just in case...

After some souvenir gathering we returned to base for some chain maintenance (ah-em, while one of us had a little rest :-) )

Then we donned our trainers for a little jaunt along the sands. It was frankly impossible to resist!
