Gold Beach to Crescent City-58m

On paper, today was a shorter, easier day. In reality it was significantly slower and harder, due to the elements!
The irony of escaping Oregon with no wettening of our garments...
And approaching California, the 'golden state' in waterproof jackets and rain-speckled glasses!
However, halfway through the day and almost within reach of the state border, lo, the damp cleared off and the mercury rose a degree or five. Jackets were off!
